Starting at India’s oldest and most reputed National Park, Corbett National Park, we’ll explore the Sal Forests and the Ramganga Valley for the most charismatic Mega Predator, the Tiger. Corbett also has the distinction of being the park where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. Named after legendary hunter turned Conservationist Jim Corbett, is one of the best parks in India with Dhikala having the highest Tiger Density in the world, it is also one of the only parks in India which offers one the rare opportunity of staying inside the heart of the national park; a true experience any wildlife enthusiast craves for. With over 50 species of Mammals recorded and over 580 species of birds this is definitely a haven for wildlife.
We’ll end the tour at the Taj Mahal. A World Heritage Site, this most beautiful monument of love was built during the 1600’s taking 22 years to build by grieving emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. A true monument to love its architecture is a true marvel and testament to mankind’s ingenuity.
