Some of the smaller and fascinating species found in India are Pygmy Hog, Hispid Hare, Mouse Deer, Binturong and Marbled Cat. Of course when it comes to wildlife the Royal Bengal Tiger is the Flagship of Indian Wildlife. The Tiger is one of the most recognizable and popular predators of the world's charismatic mega-fauna. Unfortunately, it is now on the verge of extinction with India being arguably the best place in Asia to see this hypnotic creature in the wild.

For birders with over 1200 species of birds India is a haven for ornithologists, some of the best species that can be seen are Ibisbill, Greater Adjutant, Bengal Florican, Spoonbill Sandpiper, Spot-Billed Pelican, Hodgson’s Bushchat, Finns Baya, Black-breasted Parrotbill, Himalayan Monal, Masked Finfoot and White-winged Duck.
